Our Pillars
Chi Delta Theta seeks to enrich the lives of university students with the following:
SXSTERHOOD
Our siblinghood commonality that united our differences. Chi Delta Theta has created lifelong bonds, where many of our siblings become our bridesmaids, best friends, roommates, etc. Our late nights, laughs, tears, and spontaneous hangouts are what have created our unbreakable bond. Though we are seven chapters strong across California, we pride ourselves on knowing each and every sibling.
CULTURAL AWARENESS
As Asian-American people, we can never forget our roots. We seek not only to enrich ourselves with our cultures, but to educate others in the community as well. Our purpose is not to segregate, but to celebrate each other’s cultural differences. Chi Delta Theta accepts people of all ethnic backgrounds.
ACADEMICS
Our main purpose for being in a university is for education. Academics always comes first. A strong Chi Delt recognizes her priorities and finds a way to balance school, work, and extracurricular activities.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Chi Delta Theta seeks not only to enrich our own lives, but to help enrich the lives of others in the community. Though we don't have a set philanthropy, one of our annual events is our art auction, where we donate part of the proceeds to a charity of our option.
SOCIAL ACTIVITY
The ability to communicate and interact with different types of people is essential to our success as individuals whether it be in school, the work world, family, relationships, etc. At the same time, Chi Delta Theta uses social activities a way to relieve stress, meet new people, and create strong bonds with other organizations.
