 frequently asked questions

Rush is a time for us to meet and get to know girls interested in our organization. The week is filled with various events where you can meet new people, have fun, get to know the siblings of Chi Delta Theta, and learn more about our organization. This is a great opportunity to ask us any questions you may have if you’re interested or want to join!

WHAT IS RUSH?

Absolutely not! Rush events are all FREE of charge and rides will be provided to off campus locations. Snacks and food will also be provided at events.

DO I HAVE TO PAY
FOR RUSH?

Nope! Rush is a time for you to learn about our siblinghood. There is no obligation to join by rushing. Just take this chance to see if this is something you might be interested in and have fun!

IF I RUSH, DO I HAVE
TO JOIN?

It definitely isn’t. We have many sisters actively participating in other organizations such as PCE, CSA, TVSA, and many more. Our sisters have been able to manage both academics and our personal lives (being a RA, working part time, etc). Please talk to any sister if you have concerns about this!

IS JOINING A SORORITY
TIME CONSUMING?

Anyone can join! We are an Asian-American interest, non exclusive sorority, which means we strive to promote awareness and knowledge about Asian cultures on campus and throughout the community. You don’t have to be Asian to join! As long you have an interest, you can join. Chi Delta Theta does not discriminate against race, religion, or national origin.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Studies show that Greek students tend to get the best experiences out of their college careers by being able to get involved on campus and in the community. Greek Organizations provide opportunities for students to become well rounded and obtain valuable skills for the future. Some experiences include community service, leadership, networking, scholarship opportunities, and most importantly, friendships that last a lifetime.

WHY SHOULD I
"GO GREEK"?

The fastest form of contact would be through our Direct Message on Instagram (@slochidelts), but feel free to fill out the contact form located within “Contact Us” for more information! You can also contact any of our siblings through our personal Instagrams or Facebooks or if you see us around on campus! We will be glad to answer any questions you may have about rush.
